CyanogenMod 13 or as we are used to say CM13 made its own way to Galaxy S4. It is the most popular Custom ROM and will give you the experience of pure stock Android 6.0. The list of devices who are receiving a port of CM 13 is growing up day by day but in this article we will focus only on Galaxy S4.
The CyanogenMod team released the source code of CM13 so developers can take it and build a stable ROM. A well-known developer have done this. He has taken the source code of the CM13 and built a ROM so you can enjoy the features of Android Marshmallow on Galaxy S4.
This ROM will work only on the Snapdragon 600 GT-I9505 variant while for the Exynos variants there are no words until now. The ROM is not official yet but most of the things are working perfect. It might not be stable enough to be used as a daily driver but you can give it a shot if you like to mess up with your device.

How To Install CM13 Android 6.0 Marshmallow On Galaxy S4
The procedure of installing CM13 on Samsung Galaxy S4 is super easy. Simply you will need to turn off your phone and boot it into recovery by pressing Home + Volume Up + Power Button in the same time. Once you boot into recovery it’s recommended to do a Nandroid backup.
It will be needed if anything goes wrong, so at least you wil be able to save your current ROM and restore it immediately. Once you do the backup go back to Recovery main menu and flash the ROM zip file. After the ROM flash Google Apps (Gapps) as well and reboot your phone.
The first boot may take a while because the system need some time to configure the files for the first time use. In some cases it might last more than 10 minutes. There is nothing to worry, just wait for the phone to turn on and then do not forget to enjoy pure stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Galaxy S4.
