How to delete WhatsApp messages
There are three ways to delete messages on WhatsApp, depending on what you want to do. You can delete all messages, only messages from a specific contact or one or more messages from a conversation.
Delete one conversation or a group. To do that go to the main menu on WhatsApp where are all the conversation you have done. To delete one chat, tap and hold on it. Then select “Delete Chat” or “Delete and Exit Group” depending what you want to do.
Delete messages from a conversation. To do that open WhatsApp and go to the conversation you want to delete. In chat window find the message you would like to delete. Tap and hold it. If you want to delete more than one message tap on more to select them. After selecting the messages choose Delete from the menu.
How To Reply To Whatsapp Or SMS Messages From PC (Pushbullet Quick Reply)
Delete all Chat conversations and Entire Chat history. To do that open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Chat Settings. Scroll down at the bottom and find “Clear all chat conversations” if you want to delete only messages inside the conversation. All the messages will be deleted but the chat list will remain.
If you want to delete all chat conversation including messages inside them, tap on “Delete all conversations”
How to delete WhatsApp contacts
WhatsApp contacts are loaded directly from contacts on your phone book or contact list. Once you open WhatsApp it allows you to see all those people from your contact list who are registered on WhatsApp. Since this list is loaded from contacts you have saved on you phone or sim card there is nothing you can do to delete the contcat only from WhatsApp. So the only way to delete a contact on WhatsApp is to delete it from your phone address book first and then it will be deleted even in WhatsApp
To find the Contact directly on you phone list from WhatsApp follow the steps below.
- Find the contact on WhatsApp contacts.
- Tan on Contact.
- Tap on the name at the the top.
- Open Contact Info Page, then open the Menu Button and tap on “View in address book”
- The addrees book will open and you can delete the contact from there.
- After deleting the contact, refresh WhatsApp Contacts.

If you are still seeing the contact than probably you haven’t deleted the chat. So tap and hold on the contact and then select “Delete chat”
