Samsung Galaxy S5 is a great device with good specifications. But when it comes to sound we can’t say the same. Almost every latest Android device suffer from low-sound issue. But despite this fact you can increase the sound volume anytime.
Having a good sound quality enough loud and without any distortion is the first thing you may want to do after you buy it. We found a mod that will increase and boost sound on your Galaxy S5. Flashing a mod is the simplest way to do that. There are also several method but they consist on modifying file system and this is not an easy task to do. You need to have proper knowledge to modify file systems. In the other hand when you flash a mod it will do all the work by itself. To install Volume Boost Mod on you Galaxy S5 go ahead and follow the guide below.
Requirements
- Root access. If you haven’t rooted your phone yet, you can do it by following our guide here.
- A Custom Recovery must be installed. If you haven’t installed one check our tutorial here.
There are four zip files that will boost and increase sound on your Samsung Galaxy S5. Each one of the files will increase the sound volume of your phone in a certain value.
V1 Lite – All sound boosted by 4. This can be the perfect file you may want to flash. It will give a great boost without sound distortion. This cab be the perfect sound for your device.
V2 Medium – All sound increased by 5. It will boost the sound good enough but sometimes the sound will not be good.
V3 Extra Loud – Sound boosted by 6. The sound will be loud enough but it may cause a crackle sound when music is played.
V4 Lite + Headphone Increase – Will boost speaker sound by 4 the same as Lite apart from the headphone volume which will be increased slightly.
If you are running Lollipop on your Galaxy S5 below you will find the mod files for both TouchWiz Variant of Lollipop or if you have installed CM12 you can boost sound also on it.
If you don’t like the sound after flashing the mod you can revert back anytime. Just take and flash the Volume Restore from the download link below.

How To Install Volume Boost Mod Zip Files On Galaxy S5
Note: This Mod is only for Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F. It will not work on G900H. Not tested in other variants, so if you want to try do it at your own risk. To check your phone version go to Settings > About Phone and check Model Number.
- Turn off your Galaxy S5.
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash the zip file
- Reboot
- Enjoy
