Finally AT&T decided to update Galaxy S4 to Androi 5.0 Lollipop. It has been months since Android Lollipop is announced and most of other device have received already the update. Unfortunately AT&T left its users a long time waiting for the official Lollipop 5.0.Touchwiz firmware.
But finally after months waiting AT&T galaxy S4 can enjoy lollipop and its brand new features. It’s pity that the biggest US carrier left its users waiting for a long time. The update come as a OTA will be available on all countries soon. To check if your Galaxy S4 can be updated to official Android 5.0 go to Settings > About Phone > and check for updates. If there is any update there you will be prompted to download the firmware.
After downloading the Lollipop firmware, you have to install it. Android 5.0 Lollipop is a big update so you must have some memory free on your phone. At the end of the installation of Lollipop your phone will be like a brand new device. The update will change all the system but it will not affect your personal files.
