Update Galaxy Alpha To Android 5.0 Lollipop (TouchWiz OTA Update)

Update Galaxy Alpha to official Android 5.0 Lollipop TouchWiz. After a long time waiting Galaxy Alpha users now can enjoy the Touchwiz 5.0 Lollipop. While other Galaxy devices have received the update times ago, Galaxy Alpha users were still waiting for it.

This week Samsung decided to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Galaxy Alpha. Galaxy Alpha is getting the same Android version as other Galaxy devices like S5 or Note 4. This means that it has the redesigned TouchWiz version with Material Design UI and not that version found on Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

The Android version is 5.0.2 and brings tons of features like a better control over notifications, better performance due to the new system runtime, few bug fixes and increased battery lifetime. The update is available only in the South Corea but according to Samsung it will be available to other countries soon.
