Downlod Galaxy S6 AccuWeather Widget & Home Launcher

Who’s getting excited about the brand new Galaxy S6. It is really a good device, probably the best of the moment. It does not have only the best specs but also the software is improved so much to bring a better user experience.

Galaxy S6 brings tons of features to make our life easier. It is an awesome smartphone but not every one can afford buying one. You are here probably because you like the new Samsung beast but you haven’t bought it yet. In fact you don’t have to buy every phone to taste their features. Thanks to developers we can enjoy featured apps and much more even on our old Android device.

This time I’m going to share with you something that I found on Android Community. AccuWeather widget is ported directly from Galaxy S6 and you can install it right away. You also can install Galaxy S6 theme to transform your phone UI into a Galaxy S6 UI. I found them posted on the Galaxy S3 forum but they probably will work even on other devices.

However I am not sure if they will work on your device as well. So if you want to try it do at your own risk. I shall not held any responsibility for any trouble with your phone. Remember always to do a backup.

Getting Ready

• You will need root access. If you haven’t rooted your phone yet go and find a tool to root it.
• Install a Custom Recovery like CWM or TWRP. I recommend to use TWRP because it is more simple.
• Make a backup to all your important things. If you have a Custom Recovery do a Nandroid backup because it will create a full copy of the system.

To install AccuWeather widget you will need to install first a launcher with theme support. You can install Galaxy Note 4 Launcher, Galaxy S5 Launcher or any other with theme support.

How To Install Galaxy S6 AccuWeather Widget

• Download Galaxy S6 AccuWeather apk file from link above.
• Using Root Explorer go to System/priv-app/ and delete accuweatherphone2014.apk and weatherdeamon2014.apk but first make sure to backup them.
• Turn off your phone and boot into Recovery.
• Wipe cache, Dalvik Cache.
• Flash the zip file.
• Reboot your phone and enjoy.

How To Install Galaxy S6 Launcher Theme

• Download and install Galaxy S6 theme all file.
• Install it as normal apk.
• Reboot your phone.
• Go to theme options and choose the new theme.
