Having a Nexus device is a good thing for Android lovers. You may know that those devices are the first that receive the latest update. Even this time it couldn’t be different. Google just released Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory image (MRA58K) for its latest Nexus devices.
So if you already own a Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 or Nexus 9 you can download the latest Android version announced by Google and named as Android Marshmallow. This version comes as a modified version of Android 5.0.x Lollipop which brings plethora of features to Android users.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow is improved so much and it has a lot of features that Lollipop doesn’t. Every manufacture and carrier will decide which of their phones will get the update but it will be needed a long time until you get it. The first devices who will get a OTA update will be Nexus phones and tablets. Usually you will receive a notification when the update is ready but you can check it by yourself. Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update and check for updates.
