Just before a month ago when Google released Android 5.0 Lollipop, lot of Android fans were exited. Android Lollipop is probably the best version that Google had ever created. The new user interface called as Material Design is what made the headlines. Since in its first stage we saw a lot of developers updating the apps to Material Design.
Another great feature and improvement of Lollipop was the system runtime which changed from Dalvik to ART. Now your phone can run faster than ever. There are plethora of features that Lollipop brings but in this article we are not focusing on it.
Android Lollipop is really great but despite all the feature and optimizations it also have some issues that need to be fixed. People have reported some bugs and issues even in the final release of Lollipop. That’s why Google started work again to release another version of Lollipop.
According to internal sources, Google is working in Android 5.1 and it release is inevitable. We will see it soon, maybe by the end of February. That’s what the latest rumours says. This are not simply rumours, they came from internal sources near Google and maybe they are not completely truly, but also they are not only simple words.
So we only have to wait and see if this rumours are true. If this rumours are to be believed, Android 5.1 will bring the following improvements:
- Improved RAM management
- Improved Battery management
- General improvement in system stability
- Fixes for sudden app closures
- Silent mode added, it missed an Android 5.0
- OK Google problem Solve
- Excessive consumption of network devices when used Wi-Fi, fixed
- Notification problem solved
- Solved issues with wireless connection
- Fixed some sound problems experience by certain devices
- Many other improvements and changes.
Now only we have to wait for the next release. We can’t do anything else expect enjoying the features of Lollipop 5.0 that are not bad in fact. It might not be perfect but it’s awesome .
