According to Samsung, the Galaxy Note 5 will start receiving Android 6.0 update probably after a month. It seems to be long time for the developers so they started to look for a way to grab the update and make it public for everyone to download.
A Note 5 developer was able to download Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware of the Galaxy Note 5 by ruining the IMEI number and baseband number. After this other developers start working and they released Galaxy Note 5 System Dump. But they didn’t stopped. They created also a flashable file for Odin so everyone can enjoy Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy Note 5.
It’s not a Custom ROM, it is the official Samsung’s TouchWiz variant of Android Marshmallow. It is improved a lot and offer many new features to its users. For now only Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920T can enjoy it but it will be available for other versions soon. So if you own this version of Galaxy Note 5 go ahead and install Android Marshmallow firmware using Odin.
