Adding shortcut to Recent Panel is another hidden feature in Galaxy Note devices. It is not enabled by default, so it need a little work to do that. A XDA Recognized Developer named “xperiacle” created an app to make things easier for us.
That app will enable the hidden feature of Samsung devices. Using this app you can easily add applications shortcut to Recent Panel. The feature allows you to add 4 apps. The developer says that is possible to increase the number by modifying SystemUI but he prefer to leave it for any other developer who like challenges.
However even 4 app are enough to add in recent panels. This app will enable this feature only on Lollipop ROMs but we don’t guarantee that it will work in every ROM, version or model. You can try it at your own.
Download the app here and install it as normal apk. If you can’t install it make sure you have enabled “Unknown Sources” under Settings > Security. Install the app and select max 4 apps than reboot the phone.
