Google apps or as we usually call them Gapps are the applications made by Google and they are needed on those cases when you install a Custom ROM. This package contains all the Google applications like Play Store, Google Play Services, YouTube, Chrome, Google Framework Services, Clock, Calendar, Google Keep and much more.
Gapps are needed only when you install a Custom ROM. When you install the Custom ROM none of the application mentioned above won’t be installed because they are developed by Google while the Custom ROM is developed by recognized developers on the Android world.
To get the best from your device when you install a Custom ROM you will need to install also Gapps. Every Android version has its own version of Gapps also. In today’s article you are going to find Google Apps for Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
This apps are needed more when you install AOSP based ROM such as CyanogenMod. Google Apps for Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes in 5 different packages. You can choose to install full Google apps which contains all the apps or if you don’t want them all simply download another package which contains fewer apps.
