Requirements
- Rooted phone
- Java
- Odexed ROM
- USB Debugging enabled
- Custom Recovery Installed (Tested on CWM)
Download KitKat ROM deodexer tool from here. After downloading extract the files. Find and rund main.bat file. Then type 1 to create working folder.
Plug in your phone and then type 2 to pull files from your device. You also can copy the files manually to /system/app, /system/framework, /system/priv-app to /Kitkat_Deodexer/system.
Type 3 to start deodexing
Type 4 to create a flashable zip, this steb can be skipped if you want to build your own flashable zip by editing updater script.
How to install it
- Copy deodex_install.zip to the SD card
- Reboot the phone on CWM Recovery
- Flash the zip file
- Done
