Get Android N SystemUI For Sony Xperia Z5 & Z5 Dual

In today’s post I’m gonna share a new mod for Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 dual users. A developer at the XDA community has created a SystemUI to look like Android N. It’s a modded SystemUI and it looks completely like Android N.

If you are someone who like to play with the device and install various mods, ROMs then you may like the Android N SystemUI. You simply will need to download the apk file and put it in the exact location and reboot your phone.Xperia Z5 Android N SystemUI


However we covered a step by step guide to help you download and install Android N SytemUI on Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 dual. Without further ado let’s jump into the guide;

Early Preparation

  • You must be rooted otherwise it won’t work. Make sure to root your phone and then go further.
  • Before making changes to system it’s recommended to do a backup. We always recommend to do a Nandroid backup via recovery. If anything goes wrong or you don’t like the new SystemUI you can revert back to your current settings.


Install Android N SystemUI on Xperia Z5

  • Download the attached systemUI apk file according to your firmware from the download section.
  • Copy the apk file on system\priv-app
  • Rename it to SystemUI.apk and set the permissions rw-r–r–
  • Move it to system\priv-app\SystemUI
  • If there is any oat folder, delete it.
  • Reboot and don’t forget to enjoy.

Download and install Android N SystemUI on Sony Xperia Z5 Dual

  • Download the attached SystemUI apk file from the download section.
  • Copy the apk on your device in system\priv-app
  • Rename it to SystemUI.apk and set the permissions rw-r–r–
  • Move it to system\priv-app\SystemUI, but don’t delete the oat folder because this SystemUI is odexed.
  • Reboot your phone and you are done.
  • Enjoy!

Make sure to get the latest apk file. The developer will be updating it. So make sure to check the official thread.
