How To Win at Battle Royales Call of Duty: Warzone

Besides the other useful tips on Call of Duty, such as the best Warzone skins, there’s also a very important topic on how to become a winner in Battle Royales. The guide in this article will help you with this task, and besides, you can adapt it to different games. Below you can find 5 useful tips.

Watch the circle shrink and use it to your advantage

In the Battle Royale main mode, the playing area of the map gradually narrows. Outside the circle, players constantly take damage and die quickly. Therefore, it’s important to constantly keep an eye on the timer until the next narrowing of the circle and carefully move to the next safe zone. In total, the circle usually shrinks seven times during a Call of Duty: Warzone match, after which the last zone narrowing starts immediately.

Not only do you’ve to avoid damage, but you also have to shrink the circle when you fulfill bounties, get ammo and use stations to buy equipment depending on your location. Shrinking can cause you to lose access to some of them. Also, keep in mind that players often run into the safe zone after the circle has narrowed – at this moment they’re especially vulnerable to attacks. Use this as a tactical advantage.

Get into the safest position as early as possible

To avoid being the same player shot while fleeing the already narrowing circle, immediately move deeper into the safe zone. To do this, open the map, find the approximate center of the next safe zone, place a marker on that point (this is a pretty useful feature of Call of Duty: Warzone) and run there. Of course, it’s desirable that you get into a firing position inside a building and not in an open area.

Once you take cover, watch the enemies nearby through your scope and watch for footsteps. If you’re careful, it’ll be very difficult to catch you off guard.

Complete Scout Contracts

There are three types of contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone: hunters, scavengers, scouts. The contracts are scattered all over the map and are activated by picking up yellow glowing panels, usually located in buildings and near settlements. Scout contracts offer perhaps the most tactful and least chaotic task: you and your squad must capture a specific point and defend it until the data download is complete.

When a contract is activated, a target marker appears on the tactical map of the war zone, which you must hit to complete the task. As soon as one of the squad members is within the small radius of the target, a signal fire flies up from the station and notifies all nearby players of the event that’s begun.

Upon successfully defending the point and loading data, the squad will receive money and loot directly at the same location. Just as importantly, completing the scout mission shows squad members the nearest safe zone, giving players a big tactical advantage while leaving others wondering where to hide.

Skydive smartly

Dropping off at the beginning of Call of Duty: Warzone matches may seem like a pretty insignificant process. Of course, you can land anywhere and still win the game, but in fact, choosing the right starting point gives you a significant advantage. It pays to land in a place with the lowest player density, away from open areas and closer to buildings, where you’re most likely to find good starting weapons. And, of course, it’s better to choose the places you know better and where you can fight off enemies more effectively.

How to beat the Gulag in Call of Duty: Warzone

One of the main features of Warzone is the possibility of getting a second chance after dying during a match. A severely wounded character goes to a separate GULAG zone where he’s stripped of all equipment. Here you’ve to defeat the opponent in a duel to return to the main map. And here there’s a very important trick: after “death” the sprays aren’t taken from the character.

They can be used quite easily to win a duel. For example, if you’re in the waiting area for a duel, it’s worth using sprays on players nearby, then it’ll be very easy to spot them in the arena itself. You can also put a spray with the image of the characters in the game and paint a fake target on the walls nearby after the duel starts, to confuse the opponent and make him give away his location by shooting at the wall. Of course, more experienced players almost never fall for such a trick, but beginners or inattentive players can be quite easily fooled in this way.
