  • re-install any pre-installed apps and bloatware.
  • not delete the data or device partition.
  • remove the files added to system like the root app or modification you have made to the system using root access.

How to unroot LG G3 and Restore it completely to stock.

  • Go to LG official website and download LG PC Suite.
  • Check the app for updates because it will not recognize your device if is not installed the latest version.
  • If you have used KDZ flashing method, you may experience problems during updates because your host files had to block PC Suite from accessing connection.
  • After installing and updating PC Suite, connect the phone to PC using an USB cable.

Note: If you have frozen any app, unfreeze theme because they might affect on OTA installation.

  • With the device connected to PC Suite go to Phone Menu and select the option “Restore Upgrade Errors”.
  • Then PC Suite will scan your device, all the process ia automatic. It will download the ROM and all other things needed. So just wait for it to finish.
  • After finishing the phone will reboot.
  • When it turn on, LG G3 will be fully unroted.
  • If you want to make it like new perform a factory reset and that’s all.
  • Your phone is unrooted and 100% in stock ROM, so any OTA update can be installed on it.
