How To Unlock Huawei Honor 8 Bootloader

How to unlock Huawei Honor 8 Bootloader

Step 1 – Follow all the early preparations carefully. Once you make sure you are prepared you can go further. Next, you should enable USB Debugging on your phone. You can find it under Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.

Step 2 – Go to Huawei official site and create an Huawei login ID. Then you should accept “Unlocking Agreement”. You will get a form. Once you fill the form you will get the unlocking code in a few seconds.

Step 3 – Connect your phone to PC using an original USB cable. Then download and extract this tool. Open the extracted folder and click on MAF32.exe. A command prompt window will open. Type this command fastboot devices and press Enter. It will ask for your permissions. Grant them and make sure to check “always allow from this PC ” option.

The code you typed will show all the connected devices on the command prompt window. There you can see your phone serial number. If you don’t find your phone serial number than probably the Android USB drivers are not installed correctly. Try to reinstall them. If you still have problems with the connection you should check the USB cable and the USB port on your computer and make sure they are ok.

Step 4 – On the command prompt window type this code: adb reboot bootloader. Your phone will boot into Bootloader Mode. Next you should type the following code: fastboot oem unlock code (replace the word code with the unlocking code you got on the official site of Huawei. A pop-up message will appear on your phone screen. Select Yes and press the Power button to select. The bootloader is now unlocked.
