Today we are going to share some cool mods for Nexus 5. If you have rooted your phone and installed a Custom Recovery, than its time to do a little changes into the system. Here are 9 mods ready to flash on your phone. We really enjoy tweaking our devices, hope you do the same. So without further ado let’s take a look to mod collection for Nexus 5.

1 – Autostart Menu
This mod is deodexed but there is nothing to worry, it will work fine in any other ROM. However we recommend to do a backup of the folder /system/priv-app/Settings. This mod will replace it so just to be safe copy this folder in a safe place.
Download this mod from here and move it somewhere on your phone. Then turn of your Nexus 5 and boot into recovery. Flash the mod and reboot. That’s all, you have successfully installed the Autostart Menu on Nexus 5 Lollipop.
2 – Material Design Bootloaders
This mod consists on some material-styled bootloaders to make your phone even more cool. There are several bootloaders you can choose depending what you like. To install this mod simply flash it via recovery and you are done. If you want to revert back to stock simply flash the original bootloader of your phone. Download the mod here.
3 – Nexus 6 Sounds (Ringtones, Notifications & Alarms)
Nexus 6 sounds are ported to Nexus 5 and you can easily install them. The zip files you are going to find below include Ringtones, notification and alarms. There are three zip files. The first one is Nexus 6 sounds, the second includes the stock and the third has both Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 sounds. So choose the file you want and flash it on Recovery.
4 – iOS Sounds
Do you like the iOS sounds but you don’t prefer an iOS device? It would be cool to have iOS system sounds on your Nexus 5. This zip file you are going to find here contains all the sounds like notifications, camera sound and much. Click here to download the mod and flash it on recovery.
5 – Add Clear All Recent Button
In Android 5.0.1 the button who clear all the recent app was disappear. It is very useful so we thought you may want to install this mod. It work both on odexed and deodexed Lollipop 5.0.1 ROMs. To install this mod simply download the zip file and flash it on Recovery. Click here to download the mod. It might happen that the button may disapper. To fix it simply rotate the phone and back. You will see that the button will appear again.
6 – CM 12 DSP Manager
DSP Manager is probably the best mod to control sound on your device. If you have ever installed CyanogenMod ROM on your device probably you have tried it. The mod you are going to find below is ported from CM 12 and it should work on every Lollipop ROM. It’s not tested in plethora of ROMs but according to the developer who ported the app, it should work fine. Download the mod and flash it on Recovery.
7 – Center clock and battery percentage
This mod will put the clock in the middle of the screen for better look and also will make the battery to show in percent while it’s charging. This mod works on both odexed and deodexed Lollipop 5.0.1 ROM. Download the mod and flash it on Recovery.
8 – Apple iOS Emoji pictures
This mod wil replace stock Android Emoji pictures with Apple default Emoji. iOS Emoji has some cool picture that you won’t find in Android. If you use pictures in your conversation you may want to install this mod. Click here to download the mod.
9 – Nexus 5 DPI changing
This mod lets you make your Nexus 5 DPI different than stock. It’s a cool mod that I really enjoyed it. Download the mod from here and flash on recovery.
